Dyscalculia and Math Difficulties Exhibition (2026-2027)
Vision Psychology is organizing regular Dyscalculia Exhibitions from June 2026 onwards. Parents who have children with math difficulties or math anxiety are invited to attend to learn more about the characteristics, the assessment process, case studies, math resources, and the difference between math intervention and tuition.
Check the Vision Psychology Singapore Facebook page for new updates.
Individuals with dyscalculia may struggle with tasks such as remembering basic math facts, telling time, or remembering steps in procedures. These difficulties can often be mistaken for ‘carelessness,’ lack of effort, or simply being bad at math. In reality, dyscalculia affects the way the brain processes numerical information. Without proper awareness, many individuals continue to struggle silently, which can impact not only their academic progress, but also their confidence and attitude toward learning.
This exhibition aims to raise awareness among parents about the importance of assessment and diagnosis for dyscalculia. Early identification can help individuals receive the appropriate support, teaching strategies, and accommodations they need to succeed.
Individuals at risk are: Students with math difficulties and/or math anxiety. Students who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia, ADHD, Language Disorder, or ASD (autism spectrum disorder). Students who have siblings or a parent who has been diagnosed with a learning difficulty.
