Helmy Faber is a Registered Educational Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society and a Dyscalculia Specialist. She is a Postgraduate Certified Dyscalculia Diagnostician, professionally trained and qualified to assess and diagnose individuals with dyscalculia. She also specializes in assessing individuals with literacy and attention difficulties.
She is a Postgraduate Certified Dyscalculia Practitioner who provides specialized numeracy interventions and designs personalized programs for learners aged 6 and above with mathematical difficulties and/or math anxiety.
She is the author of several educational books, including The Math Handbook, a useful math reference book for every learner including neurodivergent individuals. She also co-authored Living with Dyscalculia (2025) with two psychiatrists at the IMH-Singapore and she published Code Green on Dyscalculia (2021).
She has over twenty years of experience working with students in local and international schools who experience learning difficulties.
Vision Psychology has worked with students from local primary and secondary schools, as well as from Pathlight school and Kindergarten settings. International Schools such as Tanglin Trust, CIS, SAS, UWC, One World International School, Dover Court, Dulwich College, SAIS, International French School, Global Indian International school, and others.
